Prof. Ren C. Luo, Fellow of IEEE, received Dipl.-Ing and Dr.-Ing degrees in EE from TU Berlin, Germany. He is CTO of FFG-Fair Friend Group Company and Irving T. Ho Chair Professor at National Taiwan U., Current EiC of IEEE Trans on Industrial Informatics (JIF 10.215). He was President and Dean of Eng. National Chung Cheng University, also was President of IEEE Industrial Electronics Society. He was a Professor of North Carolina State U, Raleigh, USA and Toshiba Chair Professor at U. of Tokyo, Japan. His research interests include AI enhanced intelligent robotic systems, multi-sensor fusion, advanced manufacturing automation systems. He has authored more than 530 papers on international refereed Journals and refereed international conferences and patents. Prof. Luo’s scholarly achievement has received international recognition in the field and received numerous major significant awards including IEEE Eugene Mittlemann Achievement Award, ALCOA outstanding Engineering Research Award etc.
